📰 News & Updates
Welcome Message
Welcome to the News & Updates section!
This is where you’ll find important announcements, changes, and new information about the league.
Ive added back buttons and extra navigation features.
New information might appear on the site at any time until Thursday night without being posted here.
Starting Friday morning, any updates to pages, rules, challenges, or info will be listed here so you don’t have to re-read the entire site.
I’ll also be adding images and graphics to make things less boring.
The preseason games officially begin this today (Friday the 15th) !
Planned Absences – How to Handle Them
If you know you’ll be gone for an entire league week (Friday–Thursday) and won’t log any matches, you can make it up:
Play 2 matches the week before and 2 matches the week after for a total of 4 matches covering the missed week.
These make-up matches will NOT count toward solo or team achievements.
You must not log a single match during the week you’re “gone” for this to be valid.
If you run 2 matches the week before, and your plans change, you are able to play the current week with only 3 matches. You’ll basically be punished with the fact you played 2 matches without the benefit of challenges, and there is nothing we can do about that. We can’t allow you to have 2 bad early week matches, and cancel your trip to make up for them.
📅 Weeks run Friday–Thursday.
Week 1 preseason: Friday the 15th – Thursday the 21st.
Week 1 is our preseason – test the algorithm, learn the ropes, and track real scores to figure out the best strategies.
Honestly, this whole season is our guinea pig season – expect experimentation!
Playoffs & Finals – Updated Format
The final rules have changed. Please see the playoffs page for the changes. The finals are now a full squad with 2 randoms best of 7 MATCH PLAY series. Thanks Marc for the idea!
Finals Match Format
The Finals will be a one-on-one, winner-takes-all showdown:
No squad fill – just the two finalists in the lobby.
No buybacks and no teammate revives allowed.
Self-revive kits are allowed.
Victory is decided by most kills.
If there’s a tie, play another match immediately.
Keep playing until there’s a clear winner – most kills wins.
New Victory Points Rule
In any team victory:
Every player gets 1 league point.
The final kill scorer gets +1 point.
The player with the most kills gets +1 point.
If there’s a tie for most kills, highest score wins the point.
